But now that Ruffy controls have brought out their MR Series Multi-Axis Potentiometer Joystick, we’re delighted to have the opportunity to provide our clients with a custom-built joystick from one of our most innovative suppliers.

The MR series is a compact, low profile potentiometer based joystick with two or three axis precision control.

Potentiometer joysticks are a classic joystick technology, which can be operated with a very small amount of force. With this technology, Ruffy has designed a low operating force fingertip controller, with a variety of handle and mounting options for ease of integration.

This type of of joystick is especially useful for controlling electrical devices such as volume controls on audio equipment. The MR series can also be used for measurement systems, CCTV, machine control, wheelchair control, robotic systems, PTZ camera control, or in environments where high magnetic field strengths are present.

As we’ve come to expect from Ruffy, the range of custom options means that this joystick can be used for a variety of applications and can be customised to your specific needs.

These durable 3-axis joysticks are available with 0 or 1 Buttons, a variety of Drop-In, Rear Mount or Riser Box Bases & 220 ° or 100 ° Potentiometer options.
They have a 50° Angle Movement and spring return.

With an operating temperature of 0°F TO 140°F, they can be stored at conditions from -40°F TO 160°F.
The 100° option has a voltage rating of 350VDX, and a rotational life of three million cycles. The 220° has a max voltage range of 500VDC, and a rotational life of 500,000 cycles.
